I have a 2024 Stelvio and was shocked when I noticed a crack on my windshield that started from the middle top and came down about 6 inches at which point it made a turn to the left (looking from the inside). No indication of being hit by an object, just the crack. Since I have my car serviced by the Alfa Romeo dealer of Mechanicsburg, PA they did reach out to Alfa asking if this would be covered under warranty. Unfortunately, it doesn't. Even though what I have is a stress crack, Alfa stated they have a 12 month warranty on windshields, not the typical 4 year bumper to bumper that covers the rest of the car. Since the crack happened on the 13th month of ownership they won't cover it. I asked service if they would allow a "Goodwill" exception, they won't. I next went to Alfa Customer Care and asked them the same question. I was told this will be given to the next higher level (whatever that means) and I now have a case number. I'm hoping Alfa will allow coverage. I love my Stelvio and will buy more, but if this is how Alfa supports loyalty I may look elsewhere.
